UPDATE – Nov 17, 2008: It appears that this movie production ran into issues with another movie out of Brazil which had the same name.  Jack has dropped off the map for now.  Hopefully he’ll return soon with this important work. We need you, Jack!

I have been asked to be a contributing artist to a very important film, titled “A Convenient Truth: A Film About The World Getting Better”. I am very impressed with the work Jack Guest has produced here and encourage everyone to help spread the word about this effort. Watch the preview film and pitch in within your community to do your part in launching humankind into a sustainable future within economics.

A Convenient Truth

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Many people look at preventing the world’s climate changes as a global hoax, political scams, and wasted time when they could be partying and greedily sucking the life out of the Earth by believing that it’ll end eventually so why not selfishly milk it for what it’s worth now and so on. This uneducated ignorance further proves we have a long way to go in evolution before we can really be proud of our achievements as a species.

By setting forth into the trend of bettering ourselves mentally, socially, and economically, we are in turn creating more opportunities for economic growth in the long run. Why does financial freedom have to come from the production of material products? Why can’t new ways of financial gain come from sustaining the planet instead of destroying it? Until everyone from governments down to individual citizens alters their perceptions of why they exist and what is keeping them alive will we ever prosper forth into a new age in living as one with the Earth.

I’ll leave you now with the lyrics from a TOOL song:

“Right in two”

Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they’re all confused

Don’t these talking monkeys know that
Eden has enough to go around?
Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys
Where there’s one you’re bound to divide it,

Right in two

Angels on the sideline,
Baffled and confused
Father blessed them all with reason
And this is what they choose
Monkey killing monkey killing monkey
Over pieces of the ground

Silly monkeys give them thumbs,
They forge a blade, and where there’s one
They’re bound to divide it,
Right in two

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey
Over pieces of the ground
Silly monkeys give them thumbs
They make a club and beat their brother down

How they survive so misguided is a mystery
Repugnant is a creature who would squander
The ability to live tonight in heaven
Conscious of his fleeting time here

Cut it right all, right in two

Fight over cloud, over earth, over sky
Fight over life, over blood, over air and light
Fight over love, over sun, over another
Fight for each other, for the ones who are rising

Angels on the sideline again
Been so long with patience and reason
Angels on the sideline again
Wondering when this tug of war will end

Cut it right all, right in two
Right in two
