You’ll get a username and password to log in and what you’ll see there is like navigating through facebook and writing notes… you create “posts” (which are like facebook notes) and post them to the blog.  You can edit them, etc.  You’ll have your name credited to the post.  You’ll receive a user guide, etc… but it’s pretty straight forward once you get inside.  I have set it up such that when you publish (you can save as drafts first) it gets sent out around the world to blog publishing websites… that’s blog syndication, BABY!  Your bio will also be included on the site.

Increasingly, ISPs are using filtering systems to try and keep Spam out of customers’ inboxes. But all too often, they also filter the e-mail that you want to receive. To make sure that The Spinning Blue eMails are not filtered into your “junk” or “bulk” folder, please add spinning-blue-planet.com to your list of trusted senders.

Here’s how:

Hotmail: Place the domain spinning-blue-planet.com in your safe list. The safe list can be accessed via the “Options” link next to the main menu tabs.

AOL: Place the domain spinning-blue-planet.com in your address book.

Yahoo! Mail: If one of our e-zines is filtered to your ‘bulk’ folder, open the message and click on the “this is not Spam” link next to the “From” field.

Other providers: If the Spinning Blue eZine is being filtered, try adding our domain from our newsletter’s ‘From’ or ‘Reply-to’ address to your address book or contact list. If this option is not available, try moving the message to your ‘inbox’ or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP’s tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from spinning-blue-planet.com. Follow their instructions for whitelisting Spinning Blue Planet.
