The Law of Repeatlessness in our lives

Dr. Joe Marshalla | Category: Mental Health, Spirituality, Love, Law of Attraction, Inspiration | 0 Comments

Do you still believe you are your mind?

As we came into this world, our little bio-computers and hard drives were perfectly clean with only the necessary operating system to consume and digest nutrients and oxygen. The memory banks were clean and the comparative data on which our entire world would be built had not yet been accumulated.

Then came our “Somebody Training”. While sorting through the billion of neural impulses that were continuously bombarding us, our significant role models began to define who we were. “Oh, he/she is this way”… or “He/She likes or dislikes this or that”… or “You are so fussy”… or “You are…(fill in the blank)”. For years our self concept was built for us as we downloaded this information until eventually all the “He” “She” or “You” statements became “I” statements. “I am this way”… or “I like or dislike this or that”… and thus our “Somebody-ness” was formed.

In and around all that came our behavior modification lessons. If we act “this way” we are lovable, if we don’t act “this way” we’re not lovable. As a result of this early conditional love programming, we began a quest act in a way so as to create an environment whereby we are loved and lovable.

Unfortunately, all of this, every last bit of it, only exists in the mind. Nowhere else can it be found. All the constructs and models of our entire universe and self-concept exist only in the mind. Yet the mind is only something we have, it is not who we are.

There is one part of our mind that is particularly worrisome. The concern is with the pre-frontal cortex. The pre-frontal cortex’s job is to act as a life simulator to predict the future. It bases its predictions on information from the past regardless if this information is correct or not. Our pre-frontal cortex truly believes that it is the “be all end all” of our entire perception of reality. It truly believes that its predictions are accurate and true.

Unfortunately for the pre-frontal cortex, I am here to end all that. I am here to announce to all the pre-frontal cortexes in this world, that you are in fact 100% of the time, incorrect and wrong.

My strong opinion on this subject is based on the discovery of a new law in our universe called “The Law of Repeatlessness”. The “Law of Repeatlessness” is based on the knowledge that there are no two moments, actions, atoms, meanings, occurrences, no two anything, that are ever exactly the same. Life is in a constant dynamic growth process whereby everything is continuously growing and expanding. Life is… in and of itself… a state of… Repeatlessness.

The only place where repeating occurs, is through the perception of our mind. But it’s not true. It cannot be. It is not physically possible.

We have spent our lives gathering data in order to define our lives. We generate and create the meaning to all of this attempting to create relevance. Yet all of that, every last bit of it, is an automatic process that is leading us around based on the programs and data we were either given or latched onto as we developed into our somebody-ness.

None of this has anything to do with who you are. For who you are rests in the state of repeatlessness, in the repeatlessness moment. Who you are has nothing to do with the reflections on, the predictions of, or the worries about… life. That’s all the mind.

Who you are is not found in your mind. Who you are is the observer of truth. And the truth can only be found in the repeatlessness moment.

Your mind is a wonderful tool to have when navigating the planes of time and space, but who you are is the listener and observer that resides continuously in the eternity of repeatlessness.

Warm regards to you,

Dr. Joe Marshalla

Resume Quick Tips by Sara Moore

Sara Moore | Category: Career and Business Development | 1 Comment

Need some help finding employment?  How about for landing your dream job?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, maybe I can help!

To start things off, I decided to just do a short and simple blog post on some quick tips for resumes and cover letters.  In the future I plan to go into more depth and explain approaches, styles and strategies, including action words, impact statements, outlines etc. So keep watching and reading and implementing!

Resume Quick Tips!

1. A resume is to be no more then two pages!  You don’t want to overwhelm a person with too much information.  Remember, the people hiring are reading a lot of resumes.  You can further elaborate in your cover letter and in an interview.

2. You shouldn’t put references on your resume.  Use the old standby “available upon request”.  When you stick your references on your resume you are giving a hiring agent permission to call them, before even getting a interview.  Wait until you get an interview.

3. Use an appropriate e-mail address!  You want to be professional, and “partyhard@hotmail.com” or “sexy_girl84@hotmail.com” don’t exactly give that impression.  So use the most professional one you have.  Consider making a new one if you don’t.

4. Use impact statements (more to come on making these!) all throughout your resume.  These statements are taking the normal “good communication skills” you may stick under the skills category and turning it into something like “gained good communication skills through 2 years of customer service”.  Basically, you are giving proof that you do have the skill you just named.

5. Give proof of everything. If you say you have computer skills, tell them why. If you tell them you are a good team-worker, tell them how.

6. Be consistent in format. Stay away from overusing fonts and bullets. Try to pick one and stick with it. Use Ittalics or bolds to emphasis titles, but be consistent in their use and don’t go crazy.

7. Spell check, and then spell check again and then give your resume to someone else and have them spell check it!

Cover Letter Quick Tips!

1. A cover letter should at best only be one page!

2. Address it to someone. Try to find out who will be getting your resume.  If a name is not given, use “hiring manager” or “human resources”.

3. Do not start your first paragraph with “my name is” or “I would like to apply for”.  They know who you are and obviously you are applying.  Instead, do a catchy opening, tell them something nice about themselves; why you want to work for them.  And then tell them something about yourself, mainly why they will benefit in hiring you!

4. Do an outline first.  It makes it easier to keep the cover letter clear and your points organized.

3. Pick threeish skills you want to highlight and then in a paragraph tell them that you have it, tell them where you got it and tell them why this skill of yours will benefit them.

4. The three skills you pick should be pulled not from your own personal list but from the job posting itself. Look for the main things they want and match them to your skills. You want to show them you have the skills they are looking for.

5. Don’t lie. It is easy to make the skills and experience you do have sound really good. Don’t lie about what you have as you likely will get caught.

6. In the last concluding paragraph, always thank them for their time and tell them in some way that you are looking forward to the opportunity of hearing from them. Give your contact information again. Studies show that statistically when contact info is included again at the bottom, people are more likely to get a call back.

Those are my quick tips. Hope you found them helpful. If you have questions, feel free to comment on this post with them. If you think I missed something out, let me know.

Happy hunting!

Sara

The MAN with the PLAN

Chris Darroch Biggs | Category: Uncategorized | 0 Comments

Spinning Blue Planet (SBP)’s mission is to bring Extraordinary Worlds and Concepts… to a monitor near you.

That’s right.  A long time ago I pushed aside all of the crap in the world and in my own life, and how I ascended above it all was to fall in love with every single living creature that exists in this universe… the good and the bad. Why the bad, you may say? Well, that’s easy… if I didn’t, who will? It is easier to let love govern your personal health than destroy it. I’m not walking on water here, now folks… I’m helping YOU to! We cannot live the harmonious lives we seek if we are held back by limited and negative chains. When you show your weakness of LOVE… you open up a greater, positive STRENGTH in another.

I’m separate from Spinning Blue Planet and what I am spreading… as in it is not about me. It’s about life and the universe and how we as a species make it what it is on this earth. Most people look at me with a narrow, ego blurred point of view thinking I am just a business owner who is preaching the same stuff like “The Secret”, etc. I’m not, and in fact, it goes far beyond that concept. The plan I have is YOUR plan, and it is the plan of everyone living in a world with money and worth and spirituality and enlightenment and peace and dreams of constant improvements!  The Plan is YOU.  I am “The Man With THE Plan”… and so are you… unless you are a woMAN… in which case you would then be a “WhOle Man”.

Here’s the SBP concept straight up….:

* SBP is about gathering up as many wonderful people from all over the word, and showcasing them and their contributions to the societies of this planet.

* It is about finding better solutions for “tomorrow” by first bettering our “todays”.

* It is about coordinating all of our efforts to create a global TEAM, thus influencing on a grander scale far greater than individual efforts can allow.

* It is a focal point for spreading greatness on a massive scale, linking WORMHOLES of influence, and resource sharing to the extreme!

* Financial independence is a priority for us all because until those with powerful voices can rise above their limited situations, we are ALL going to suffer in the long run.

* It’s about holding each other’s hands and congratulating those who have contributed POSITIVELY!

* If someone cannot financially afford to support a friend… what is the point of this economy in the first place?

* It’s about asking the BIGGEST questions we all need to be asking, and focusing on providing the answers.

* It is not about bashing or pointing fingers — we’re all about a better future in ideas.

Are YOU ready to turn some heads????

^_^

Until next time… Peace, Love, and Light to all… and may your gRoOVe be endless!

“What?! My Ego?”, you ask.

That’s right — just think about this for a sec:

What if everything you THINK you know about your Ego is dead wrong?

What if your most powerful resources and allies are the ones you don’t even know you have?

What if you could produce real, tangible results, with absolute minimal effort and extreme velocity?

What if you don’t have to dominate, suppress, muscle or otherwise “master” your ego to achieve results?

And What if you could get a bonus valued at $100 just for showing up to the live preview call?

The preview call is f/ree, but space is limited and you MUST register to hold your spot:

I mean, really — what if the thing you think is your greatest enemy is really your most powerful asset?

Irony at its finest.

On September 25th, Amy Scott Grant and Nan Akasha are going to change everything you THINK you know about your EGO. And you won’t have to pay a cent to sample it.

Nan and Amy have been mastering the practice of negotiating with egos — their own and their clients’ — to create massive breakthroughs with minimal effort, in the quickest possible timeline.
